Hiejin Yoo

Hiejin Yoo was born in 1987 in Münster, Germany, and lives in Los Angeles. Her work has been exhibited at Half Gallery, in New York and Los Angeles; Kasmin Gallery, in New York; Blum and Poe, in Los Angeles; Almine Rech, in London and Brussels; König Galerie, in Berlin; Fredric Snitzer Gallery, in Miami; and Woaw Gallery, in Hong Kong. Her work was recently acquired by the High Museum of Art, in Atlanta; the Pérez Art Museum and the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection (the Bunker), both in Miami; and the Hort Family Collection, in New York. Yoo earned an MFA at UCLA, a postbaccalaureate/BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA at Seoul Women’s University.
