Mara Feeney, originally from Canada, has lived in Northern California since 1980. She wrote the novel, Rankin Inlet, about her experience living and working in the Canadian Arctic, and is working on a collection of stories set in the Sierra foothills where she and her partner grow wine grapes and foster rescue dogs.
