Pia Hinckle

Pia Hinckle is a San Francisco writer and editor. She is a coauthor of The Court That Tamed the West: From the Gold Rush to the Tech Boom. She was the posthumous editor of Who Killed Hunter S. Thompson?, an inquiry by her late father, Warren Hinckle, into the life and death of his friend and collaborator. Pia Hinckle is chief storyteller and partner at the FruitGuys, a B Corp–certified wellness and fruit-delivery company. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications, including Columbia Journalism Review, Salon, Newsweek, the Associated Press, the San Francisco Examiner, the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, and the San Francisco Business Times.
