Rita Bullwinkel

Rita Bullwinkel is the author of Headshot, which was long-listed for the Booker Prize, short-listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and one of Barack Obama’s favorite reads of summer 2024. She is also the author of Belly Up, a story collection that won a Believer Book Award. She is the editor of McSweeney’s Quarterly and lives in San Francisco.
