Carol Strickland
Carol Strickland is an art critic, author of the best-selling book The Annotated Mona Lisa: A Crash Course in Art History from Prehistoric to the Present (now in a third edition). Her other books include The Annotated Arch: A Crash Course in the History of Architecture and a historical novel, The Eagle and the Swan. Other books are listed on her website. As a cultural correspondent, she contributes to the Christian Science Monitor and has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, and many magazines.
