Celebrate Alta Journal’s Writers Issue at Diesel, A Bookstore on November 1 in Los Angeles

Here comes an in-person literary opportunity unlike any other. Join Alta Journal and our friends at Diesel, a Bookstore for a celebration of the magazine’s Issue 25. Attendees will be treated to readings by authors David L. Ulin and Jonathan Lethem and a live version of Alta’s Ask a Californian column by Stacey Grenrock Woods and Gustavo Arellano. Don’t miss this chance to mingle with Alta’s community of editors, writers, and readers over good wine and great conversation at one of the West’s finest independent booksellers.

Alta books editor Ulin will read from his new novel, Thirteen Question Method, and author Lethem will present his latest, Brooklyn Crime Novel. Making their first-ever live appearance together will be our Ask a Californian advice columnists, Arellano and Woods—so come ready with all your pressing California questions!
