Alta Journal is back at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, a weekend-long literary event taking place at the University of Southern California on April 20–21. The festival, which draws crowds of over 100,000, features dozens of panels and author conversations and hundreds of vendors, including publishers, booksellers, and writers—making it a great place to explore the best of West Coast literature. The timing is ideal: this gathering of book enthusiasts pairs perfectly with Alta’s Issue 27, which celebrates some of L.A.’s most prolific storytellers and the city’s literary ecosystem. Join us as we host an exciting lineup of writers—including authors featured in Alta’s California Book Club as well as contributors to the magazine—signing copies of their books. Visit Alta at booth #111 (across from the Tommy Trojan statue) to meet your favorite authors, score membership deals and exclusive merch, and get to know your favorite West Coast journal IRL. We’ll also feature a major selfie opportunity you won’t want to miss. Come on by!
