Mike “Morf” Morford, cohost of the excellent Criminology podcast, started this true-crime series to tell stories from the perspective of victims’ families, whose voices aren’t always heard in other crime podcasts.

This Canadian show looks at unsolved cases, visiting cities as well as those rural farms, virgin forests, endless highways, and wide prairies where no one can hear you scream.

LISK
A deep-dive into the unsolved Long Island Serial Killer case, LISK was inspired by Robert Kolker’s bestselling book Lost Girls. The podcast throws a wide net, examining not only the victims but also their families and friends, the area’s changing socioeconomic landscape, forensic science, the investigation, police-corruption allegations, and the possibility that two serial killers committed the crimes.
