The Los Angeles Press Club announced its finalists for this year’s Southern California Journalism Awards, and Alta Journal’s talented contributors have earned 16 nominations spanning a wide range of categories.

“We’re grateful for our work to be nominated in such a broad range of categories, and it speaks to the excellent work by our team and our contributors,” says Alta editorial director Blaise Zerega. “Alta is proud to be part of California’s outstanding journalism community. Congrats to all the finalists!”

Winners of the 68th annual awards will be announced at this year’s gala on Sunday, June 28, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. A full list of nominated Alta talent can be found below.
