What’s an unusual request you’ve had to field?

My most unusual recommendation was an older woman who was looking for romance books for her daughter. She specifically mentioned that she wanted the book to have a slow burn and asked some very specific questions about the content, so I pointed her toward a few titles, including The Happy Ever After Playlist, by Abby Jimenez, and The Kiss Quotient, by Helen Hoang.
