RIVER ME THIS

Gosh, what a missed opportunity to tout the work of the Los Angeles Conservation Corps or Lewis MacAdams or the LA River Master Plan or Highland Park painter and ceramicist David Korty, who has been at the center of a quiet catch-and-release fly-fishing scene on the river for decades. Sure, the L.A. River is easy to poke fun at, and that dude frolicking in the water may be a kook, but come on, Alta, this is like a bad NYT take.
