DON’T DISCOUNT SENIORS
I enjoyed Beth Spotswood’s post “Operation Make New Friends.” The Filoli locale is divine, though my urge to take a walk on the grounds might have lessened any success in meeting new friends. Perhaps this crowd was a bit young for me? Is there a seventysomething group for active folks? And, ultimately I would never drive this far for a gathering since I am in Sonoma County.
Did I mention how much I love Alta Journal and the California Book Club? It has been a nourishing reading adventure. The live webinars do enhance my appreciation of the books and authors to a great degree.
