About the guest:
Teresa Burns Parkhurst was born in Albany, New York, and received her associate degree in commercial art from the Junior College of Albany (now Russell Sage College.) Her cartoons have been published in the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, the Harvard Business Review, Reader’s Digest, Playboy, Air Mail, Alta Journal, Narrative, and the New Yorker. She designs greeting cards for Oatmeal Studios and Sellers Publishing, and her work appears in several collaborative cartoon books. She is both proud and ashamed to have been counted among the Usual Gang of Idiots at Mad Magazine for 16 years.
Parkhurst lives in Albany and enjoys not going places.•
